We all believe this and proclaim, confess, claim, and declare this over our lives and lives of people we want to see healing. We often think it is the enemy who always wounds us through different afflictions. But the word of God says in Deuteronomy 32:39” See now that I, I am He, and there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heals, and there is no one who can deliver from My hand.”
There are times when we are wounded by God due to our sins to bring us back, draw us back, allure us towards Him. When we sin, our fellowship gets marred with our God. He wants us to repent and return back to His loving fellowship. And if required He will allow the enemy to wound us. But we don’t have to remain wounded and run away from Him. When we run towards Him realising the sinful state we are in, confessing our sins and returning to Him in our brokenness He heals, restores, rebuilds us, our families, our churches, our nation. Doing this in His kindness, love, compassion and mercy. The Lord heals the wounded and is close to the broken hearted (Job 5:18, Hos 6:1, 7:1, 14:4). Though He wounds He heals!!! Don’t run from Him in grief but run to Him. Look to Him for healing. Don’t harden your heart, return, and confess, proclaim and declare,” The Lord heals”.
