Luke 11:8 ( NIV)“I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need. “ None of us would want to come to a place when another calls our act as “Shameless Audacity “. But here is Jesus encouraging the same with regards to our asking in prayer .
When we persist in prayers in the face of all that seems to be impossible , and we refuse to take a denial being absolutely sure of the will of God . It is a deep conviction in our spirit knowing that what we are asking from God ,is what He has promised .He will not promise anything that He cannot give . Perseverance in prayer, with earnestness, regardless of the circumstances and the time is what God is looking for .The time we preserve is also a time where we get refined as we focus only on Him who can do the impossible . Nothing else , no one else can answer this prayer except Jesus . Our shameless audacity reflects our desperation in prayer a sign of our dependency on Him. And when He sees this He will surely get up and give us what we ask and we need ..
