Psalm 106:13,” But they soon forgot what he had done and did not wait for his plan to unfold” The psalmist starts an exhortation to praise God and to give Him thanks for His goodness and love. Remembering what the Lord has done for us, how His kindness towards us has made a way for us when we face a difficult situation. How the Lord has worked miracles in our lives. When we forget we fall into the sin of impatience, we lose focus, we give into temptation and demand God give us what is not in His plan. This leads to disaster, we grumble, disobey, despise the blessing of God, and stir the anger of God. Forgetting God’s mercy, His grace, His deliverance. This is dangerous as we miss the plan of God in our lives, forgetting the reason He delivered and rescued us. His plans to give us a good land. So let us continue to be a people who remember the Lord and all that He has done through our praise and our thanksgiving. Let us not forget!!!
