Have we ever felt that someone knows us as we are? Totally and completely without any filter? Our thoughts, our deepest longings, our anxieties, our thoughts, our temptations which we have never spoken, never expressed. The psalmist in Psalm 139 conveys how the LORD knows us, perceives us, searches us, discerns us, is familiar with us, has a complete knowledge about us , He has created us . If I have to put it in other words,” He knows us more than we know ourselves “. Knowing this we can be secured that we don’t have to pretend, put on a mask with Him. And because He has this knowledge about us, His discipline is to refine us, His comfort is sufficient for us, His ways are perfect for us for that will lead us in the everlasting way.
