In Proverbs 8:4, Wisdom is personified, calling out to all. When we heed the call of wisdom, we cultivate prudence, knowledge, and discernment. We gain an understanding of justice and righteousness, leading to favor with God and a life immersed in Him. Wisdom ushers in learning that brings joy. It flourishes when we fear God—a result of immersing ourselves in His Word, listening to teachings from those who know the Lord, and engaging in fellowship with fellow believers.

Amidst these endeavors, wisdom beckons to us. Are we attentive to its call? Do we patiently wait to listen, or does impatience hinder our ability to hear? Are we consciously disregarding wisdom’s call?

It’s imperative to assess: Have we found wisdom? If not, the peril is facing spiritual death. Wisdom calls out to us; let’s listen and embrace the path to life.
