Psalm 121 – The Lord watches appears 5 times in this Psalm which has 8 verses. He is “El Roi “, The Lord who saw me and watches over me. It brings great comfort that the Lord of the universe, the Creator, watches over every step I take!! He does not sleep nor slumber, His eyes are ever on me. This brings great assurance and comfort but also reminds me that though no one can watch me, He is always watching. He will help me, He will protect me, He will preserve me, He will sustain me, He is always watching. Knowing this truth, I lift up my eyes towards Him, knowing He will come to my help when I am in need of help. Great comfort I have in this My Helper is always, always, always watching over me.
