Stand Against Devil’s Scheme
Ephesians 6:10-18 provides clear instructions that empower us to stand against the schemes of the Devil. Paul serves as a reminder that we are engaged in a spiritual battle, necessitating spiritual armor to stand unwaveringly, avoiding being shaken, defeated, disheartened, discouraged, depressed, or succumbing to other tactics of the enemy. This command parallels a commander’s directive to soldiers before a battle: ‘Wear the armor of God!’ Each component of this armor must be donned.
Foremost is the belt of truth, arguably the pivotal element, upon which every other piece relies. My salvation, righteousness, faith, gospel sharing, and knowledge of the Word, all pivot on the foundation of the gospel truth. The more deeply rooted this truth becomes within me, the clearer my comprehension of salvation, righteousness, and gospel sharing becomes. I am fortified for victory, standing my ground without retreat, armed with the invincible Word of God.
In prayer, I shall attain victory, remaining alert in my spirit to detect the enemy’s plans and countering them with the might of God’s Word.”
